Dear Sibling,
Though the Resurrection is still a few weeks away, still we can recall the victory to come.
The Cross is not the end of the story.
In fact, the story doesn’t end.
It goes on forever.
In fairy tales, the story ends with “And they lived happily ever after.”
But do we see that in this life? Even after the happiest life, we face death.
But that is not the end of our story.
Just as Christ resurrected, so too will we.
And that is why the story goes on forever.
And the end of this life is the beginning of a new one.
When we enter Heaven, we truly live “happily ever after.”
Christ’s Resurrection is confirmation of that and the victory to come.
– Ryan
